  13.    I've put an A3640 in my A3000 without any problems.  I have heard of
  14. the 3640 not working in some A3000's, it seems to be a hit and miss type
  15. of deal.  With that said you need to do the following-
  16.  
  17. Change the following jumpers on the A3000 mother board:
  18. J100  Remove the jumper block (normal is across pins 1-2)
  19. J102  Pins jumper block across 2-3 (my A3000 came this way)
  20. J104  Remove the jumper block (normal is across pins 1-2)
  21.  
  22. Install the A3640.  Make sure the heat sink is the low profile type.  If
  23. not change it or the heatsink will come in contact with the drive bay
  24. attachment plate.  One thing to note is the A3640 does not seem to want to
  25. stay in the PDS slot. Make sure you attach it to the mother board with
  26. screws (there are two point for this).
